Major County Rural Water Dist. #1 has been experiencing water pressure issues in the Cheyenne Valley area for the past few days.

We are still isolating the problem, which requires turning valves on and off. During this process, some customers may temporarily lose water service at times.

Our plan is to have all water service restored as soon as possible, with the highest pressure we can safely provide, even if the source of the leak has not yet been fully located.

Thank you for your patience while we work through this issue. As we have contacted State and are awaiting their arrival for assistiance in the matter.
