Low Water Pressures
January 28, 2026
Major County Rural Water Dist. #1 has been experiencing water pressure issues in the Cheyenne Valley area for the past day and a half.
We are currently isolating the problem, which requires turning valves on and off. During this process, some customers may temporarily lose water service at times.
Our plan is to have all water service restored this evening, with the highest pressure we can safely provide, even if the source of the leak has not yet been fully located.
Thank you for your patience while we work through this issue.
